There will be a 22 rifle competition on Saturday April 24th, 2021 at Quesnel Rod &Gun Club
The competition will be following the guidelines of the “Outlaw Rimfire Precision Series” for April 2021. But will be conducted as a local match only.
The series is limited to .22lr rimfire rifles and uses a standard target set and commonly available set of shooting positions and positional barricades. The series was designed to be shot at ranges with at least 100y distances, allowing most ranges to participate.
The matches are 5-stages in length with each stage running between 60-120 seconds. Match round counts are 50-rounds per match or 10 rounds per stage. Distances will vary from 25 yards to 100 yards with target sizes varying from ¼” to 6”.

TIME: SAFETY AND COVID BRIEFING 1330 hrs (1:30 pm) (Please do not be late)
MATCH START: 1400 hrs (2 pm)
MATCH FINISH: 1630 hrs (4:30 pm)
WHO: ALL PERSON’S ARE INVITED INCLUDING CHILDREN. AS ALL SHOOTERS WILL BE SUPERVISED
EQUIPMENT: 22 RL RIMFIRE RIFLE WITH A 10 ROUND MAX MAGAZINE – (BOLT OR SEMI-AUTO) – SCOPE TO RANGE BETWEEN 25-100 YDS (PREFERRED BUT NOT MANDATORY). SANDBAG AND OR BI-POD. 50 ROUNDS OF AMMUNITION (NEW SHOOTERS AND CHILDREN WILL BE PROVIDED USE OF FIREARM BY CLUB MEMBER AS WELL AS AMMUNITION).
In the event more than 10 people attend we will have to follow the current Covid guidelines and split the attendees into two groups (cohorts) and run 2 courses of fire at the same time. Ear and eye protection must be worn, and can be provided to those who do not have protection. In addition a mask shall be worn while in close proximity to others, but can be removed when on the firing line and the Range Officer is 6 feet away.
The event is to encourage target shooting to the community and as such there will be no charge for entry by attending the event.
