Mention that the lock is key retaining (the lock must be relocked to remove the key).

Hearing and eye protection mandatory on all ranges and the rules are posted at the entrance to all shooting areas

Sign In All members and guests must sign in every time. Members sign in with their membership number NOT NAME.

Guests must sign out as well

Lay out of the range

Black Powder – is a trail walk with reactive targets and limited to 50 cal. Muzzle loader or smaller, some parts of the range are used for cowboy action special shoots

500 meter range

When 100 meter range active do not pass the 300 meter mark without cease fire on the 100 meter range.

Pistol may be shot on the 500 meter range

shot guns with slugs, buck shot, and hunting loads are allowed on the range

50 BMG to be shot from the one position only bay 6

All target stands must have a backstop behind it (no ricochets)

No holsters allowed

The safe area no ammunition allowed in this area

The use of the red and green flag on the firing line, the red flag must be left up when leaving the range, if the green flag is up you are supposed to walk out to the 500 meter target stand to ensure no one is on the range

All the rules are posted at the entrance to the different ranges

No binary targets allowed on club property (tanerite, sure shot ect. )

100 meter range

This is a no holster range as well Pistols of all calibers and carbines in pistol caliber as well as 22 rimfire rifles are allowed on this range. This range is rented out quite often to RCMP, Sheriffs and Conservation officers

The safe area and flags again if the green flag is up someone on the 500 meter range may be out posting targets at the 500 meter mark and point out the exposer to targets on the 500 meter range

25 Meter bay

This is a holster bay, primarily cowboy action area and other holster disciplines are shot on this area such as IPSC or IDPA or Steel Challenge

Walking the bottom road to the east bays coming up to the rise point out again the rules posted and the flag for the three bays.  Emphasize no rifle, carbines or shot guns allowed in these shooting bays.  These bays are for holster work as well.

Walking back to the trap area point out the 4 trap houses the firing lines with 5 shooting positions for each trap house explain when we have turkey shoots winners are handicapped two yards with each win the trap area is for shotguns with #7.5 shot and smaller, no slugs, steel shot, heavy game loads or buckshot.

Leaving the Trap area indicate the North Bays are accessed on the West side of the number 1 trap house, mention that when these bays are in use the 500 meter one hundred meter and 25 meter bay are closed down, as well as the first 2 trap houses.

The orientation finishes up in the club house showing the baffles on the back wall and explaining the filter system as well as the safe area and lights.  Again the rules for the indoor range are posted on the wall
