Update

April 30, 2020

Dear Members,

It looks like Spring is finally here! But, unfortunately there is no end in sight to the Covid 19 related issues. Though fortunately our outdoor ranges are still open for use, we continue to follow the “Order of Provincial Health Officer” recommendation that “All in-person gatherings of ANY size are strongly discouraged”. We ask that you take steps to protect yourselves by avoiding direct contact with others, do not group together and wash your hands frequently. The Quesnel Rod and Gun Club is not sanctioning any of our Calendar Events at this time until further notice. All group gatherings of any size are at “your own risk”.

Also to note, we are unable to pull off any clean-up /work-day events at this time and there is a Province wide Fire Ban which prohibits use of the Burning Barrels and Category 2 fires. I ask all users to please do their part to clean-up and not leave a mess, take your trash, spent targets etc. with you when you leave rather than relying on others to clean-up behind you. Thanks much. I wish you all a safe healthy Spring and straight shooting!

Regards,

Andy Voight
